§ 5-33.2-13.1 Crematories – Licenseand inspection. – No crematory owned or operated by or located on property licensed as a funeralestablishment or at another location or by a cemetery shall conduct cremationswithout first having applied for and obtained a license from the department.Applications for the crematory license shall be made on forms furnished by thedivision accompanied by the application fee of ninety dollars ($90.00). Uponreceipt of a completed application, the department shall issue a license. Alicense shall be issued to a specific licensee for a specific location and isnot transferable. The facility and licensee shall meet all requirements asprescribed by the rules and regulations established by the department, notinconsistent with this chapter.
