§ 46-13-4 Approval of new water sourcesand treatment works required. – No source of water shall hereafter be developed for a public water supplysystem until a site plan has been approved by the director, and no public watersupply system shall hereafter be constructed or substantially altered until theplans and specifications for the system have been approved by the director.Plans and specifications submitted shall be prepared by an engineer registeredin the state of Rhode Island.
