SECTION 45-57-6
§ 45-57-6 Powers of governing board withapproval of electors. – The board of directors, when authorized by majority vote of the electors votingupon a proposition, have the power:
(a) To acquire real property by purchase at prices or amountsauthorized by duly adopted proposition;
(b) To sell, transfer or permanently dispose of any realproperty, on such terms and conditions and at such prices as shall byproposition be authorized;
(c) To take any further or additional action which, under theprovisions of this chapter, must first be authorized by the adoption of aproposition.
