§ 45-12-31 Extinguishment ofauthorizations. – All or any portion of the authority to issue bonds pursuant to a resolution orordinance passed by a city or town council or pursuant to a special act passedby the general assembly may be extinguished by ordinance of the city or towncouncil, without further action by the general assembly, after seven (7) yearshave passed from the date the resolution, ordinance or special act was passed.
