§ 45-12-23 Tax exemption. – The income from any bonds, notes, certificates, or other evidences ofindebtedness issued by any city, town, or other political subdivision, underthe provisions of this chapter or any other general or special law, shall atall times be free from taxation by the state or any political subdivision orother instrumentality of the state.
