§ 42-61-16 Penalties for forgery andcounterfeiting. – Any person who, with intent to defraud, shall falsely make, alter, forge,utter, pass, or counterfeit a state lottery ticket or share shall be guilty ofa felony punishable by imprisonment for not more than ten (10) years or by afine of not more than one thousand dollars ($1,000) or both.
