§ 42-61-11 Unclaimed prize money. –Unclaimed prize money for the prize on a winning ticket or share shall beretained by the director for the person entitled thereto for one year after thedrawing in which the prize was won. If no claim is made for the money withinthat year, the prize money shall automatically revert to the lottery fund andthe winner shall have no claim to the prize.
