§ 42-45-7 Appropriations. – The general assembly shall annually appropriate such sums as it may deemnecessary to enable the commission to carry out its assigned purposes; and thestate controller is hereby authorized and directed to draw his or her ordersupon the general treasurer for the payment of such sums appropriated or so muchthereof as may be from time to time required, upon receipt by him or her ofproper vouchers approved by the chairperson, or the executive director asdelegated by § 42-45-8.
