§ 42-29-11 Bond of deputies. – Every deputy shall give bond with sufficient surety or sureties to the sheriffappointing him or her, in a sum satisfactory to the sheriff, not less than fivethousand dollars ($5,000), for the faithful execution of his or her officeaccording to law.
