§ 42-115-1 Community resource assistancecommission created. – There is created a commission to be known as the community resource assistancecommission. The commission shall consist of thirteen (13) members, four (4) ofwhom shall be from the house of representatives, not more than three (3) fromthe same political party, to be appointed by the speaker; two (2) of whom shallbe from the senate, not more than one from the same political party, to beappointed by the president of the senate; one of whom shall be the director ofhuman services, or designee; one of whom shall be the director of thedepartment of health, or designee; one of whom shall be the director of elderlyaffairs, or designee; one of whom shall be the attorney general, or designee;and three (3) shall be members of the general public, to be appointed by thespeaker and to serve for terms of two (2) years. Vacancies on the commissionshall be filled in the same manner as the original appointment.
