SECTION 40-8.9-6

   § 40-8.9-6  Reporting. – Annual reports showing progress in long-term care system reform and rebalancingshall be submitted by April 1st of each year the department to the JointLegislative Committee on Health Care Oversight as well as the financecommittees of both the senate and the house of representatives and shallinclude: the number of persons aged sixty-five (65) years and over and adultswith disabilities served in nursing facilities, the number of personstransitioned from nursing homes to Medicaid supported home and community basedcare, the number of persons aged sixty-five (65) years and over and adults withdisabilities served in home and community care to include home care, adult dayservices, assisted living and shared living, the dollar amounts and percent ofexpenditures spent on nursing facility care and home and community-based care,and estimates of the continued investments necessary to provide stability tothe existing system and establish the infrastructure and programs required toachieve system-wide reform and the targeted goal of spending fifty percent(50%) of Medicaid long-term care dollars on nursing facility care and fiftypercent (50%) on home and community-based services.
