§ 40.1-5.4-10 Appropriations. – The general assembly shall annually appropriate such sum as it deems necessaryto enable the director of mental health, retardation, and hospitals to provideor secure services for adults with serious mental illness; and the statecontroller is hereby authorized and directed to draw his or her orders upon thegeneral treasurer for the payment of such sum or sums or so much thereof as maybe required from time to time, upon the receipt by him or her of vouchersproperly authenticated.
