§ 40.1-21-6 The John E. Fogarty Instituteof Rhode Island. – The department of mental health, retardation, and hospitals is herebyauthorized and directed, within the funds currently available or to be madeavailable in the future, to plan for and foster the establishment of auniversity affiliated developmental disabilities center which shall be devoted,but not limited to, the education and training of personnel in all fieldsrelated to developmental disabilities and to research in developmentaldisabilities which shall be known as "The John E. Fogarty Institute of RhodeIsland."
