§ 4-4-12 Cooperation with federalgovernment in suppression of diseases. The governor is authorized to accept on behalf of the state the rules andregulations prepared by the secretary of agriculture under and in pursuance of§ 3, 21 U.S.C. § 114, of an act of congress approved May 29, 1884,entitled "An act for the establishment of a bureau of animal industry, toprevent the exportation of diseased cattle, and to provide means for thesuppression and extirpation of pleuropneumonia and other contagious diseasesamong domestic animals", 21 U.S.C. § 113 et seq., and to cooperate withthe authorities of the United States in the provisions of that act.
