§ 39-26-3 Purposes. – The purpose of this chapter is to facilitate the development of new renewableenergy resources to supply electricity to customers in Rhode Island with goalsof stabilizing long-term energy prices, enhancing environmental quality, andcreating jobs in Rhode Island in the renewable energy sector.
