§ 36-6-3 Salaries of directors of statedepartments. – The general officers of the state shall receive such annual salaries as thegeneral assembly may by law determine. Directors shall receive such annualsalaries as may be from time to time established by the unclassified pay planboard which shall consist of seven (7) members as provided in § 36-4-16.The state controller is hereby authorized and directed to draw his or herorders upon the general treasurer for the payment of such sums, or so muchthereof, as may be required from time to time, upon receipt by him or her ofproperly authenticated vouchers.
