§ 28-33-16 Burial expenses. – If the employee dies as a result of the injury, the employer shall pay inaddition to any compensation provided for in this chapter, the sum of fifteenthousand dollars ($15,000). This sum shall be paid under the provisions of§ 28-33-23.
