§ 28-1-4 Employment of personnel –Expenses. – The director of labor and training may employ assistants and incur expensesincident to the proper discharge of the duties of his or her office, and thegeneral assembly shall annually appropriate an amount that it deems necessaryfor the purpose of paying those salaries and expenses.
