§ 27-9.2-2 Appointment of independentmedical examiner. – (a) When a person is required to submit to an independent medical examinationpursuant to § 27-9.2-1, the examination will be conducted by an impartial,competent physician approved by the medical advisory board of the workers'compensation court, as defined in § 28-30-22.
(b) The expense of the examination shall be paid by theautomobile insurance company making the request for the examination.
