§ 27-6-26 Cooperation among ratingorganizations and insurers – Review of cooperative practices. – Cooperation among rating organizations or among rating organizations andinsurers and concert of action among insurers under the same general managementor control, in rate making or in other matters within the scope of thischapter, are authorized, provided the filings resulting are subject to all theprovisions of this chapter which are applicable to filings generally. Thecommissioner may review those cooperative activities and practices and if,after a hearing, the commissioner finds that any activity or practice is unfairor unreasonable or inconsistent with the provisions of this chapter, he or shemay issue a written order specifying in what respects that activity or practiceis unfair or unreasonable or inconsistent with the provisions of this chapterand requiring the discontinuance of that activity or practice.
