§ 27-50-15 Restoration of terminatedcoverage. – The director may promulgate regulations to require small employer carriers, asa condition of transacting business with small employers in this state afterJuly 13, 2000, to reissue a health benefit plan to any small employer whosehealth benefit plan has been terminated or not renewed by the carrier on orafter July 1, 2000. The director may prescribe any terms for the reissue ofcoverage that the director finds are reasonable and necessary to providecontinuity of coverage to small employers.
