§ 27-2-27 Appeal from revocation orsuspension. A company aggrieved by a revocation or suspension of its license may, withinthirty (30) days from the effective date of the revocation or suspension, filea petition in the superior court for the county of Providence for a review ofthat action of the insurance commissioner. The court shall summarily hear anddetermine the question whether the ground for revocation or suspensionspecified in the notice of the insurance commissioner exists and may make anyappropriate order or decree. If the order or decree is adverse to thepetitioning company it may within twenty (20) days from the issuing of theorder or decree appeal to the supreme court; in case of an appeal therevocation or suspension of the license of the company shall continue in fullforce until the final determination of the question by the supreme court,unless vacated by the insurance commissioner during the pendency of the appeal.
