§ 27-2-19 Inquiries as to financialcondition. – The insurance commissioner may inquire of any life, fire, marine, or fire andmarine, or other insurance company, of any name or kind, doing business in thisstate, or of its secretary, in relation to its financial condition andmanagement, and the inquiry shall be promptly answered.
