§ 27-19-24 Nonprofit hospital servicecorporations assessment. – (a) Notwithstanding any other provisions of law, each domestic nonprofithospital service corporation shall be charged an assessment to partiallysupport the activities of the division of insurance in the department ofbusiness regulation.
(b) The assessment referred to in subsection (a) of thissection shall be calculated in the same manner as set forth in § 27-1-41[Repealed.].
(c) The minimum assessment charged shall be the greater ofthe sum determined by subsection (b) of this section or $1,000.
