§ 23-28.2-22 Fire education and trainingunit. – (a) There shall be a fire education and training unit within the division offire safety headed by a director of fire training. The director of firetraining shall be appointed by the fire marshal from a list of names submittedby the fire education and training coordinating board based on recommendationsof a screening committee of that board. Other staff and resources, such as parttime instructors, shall be requested consistent with the state budget process.
(b) This unit shall be responsible for implementing fireeducation and training programs developed by the fire education and trainingcoordinating board.
