§ 22-5-5 Roll call vote. – The ayes and noes of the grand committee shall be taken upon any questionproperly before the committee, at the request of one-fifth ( 1/5) of themembers present; but this provision shall not be construed to require an ayeand no vote upon the election of any candidate for office.
