§ 2-20-5 Deputy surveyors for Providence.– The Providence surveyor may appoint, subject to the approval of the citycouncil of the city, a number of deputy surveyors, not less than six (6), thathe or she judges sufficient, for whose official conduct he or she shall beanswerable.
