§ 2-18.1-27 Prosecution of offenses.– All prosecutions of violations under the provisions of this chapter shall beinstituted by the director and be directed by him or her, and all penaltiesrecovered for the violation of any provisions of this chapter shall be paidinto the treasury of the state. In prosecutions for violation of any provisionsof this chapter commenced by the director, it is not necessary that he or sheenter into recognizance or give surety for costs to prosecute these violations.
