§ 19-2-4 Notice of subscribers' meeting.– The first meeting of the subscribers to the agreement to form shall be calledby a notice signed either by that subscriber to the agreement to form who isdesignated in the agreement for this purpose, or by a majority of thesubscribers. The notice shall state the time, place, and purposes of themeeting. A copy of the notice shall, at least seven (7) days before the dayappointed for the meeting, be given to each subscriber or left at thesubscriber's residence, and an affidavit of a majority of the signers of thenotice that the notice has been served shall be recorded with the records ofthe first meeting. If all the subscribers, in writing, endorsed upon theagreement to form, waive this notice and fix the time and place of meeting, nonotice shall be required.
