§ 17-15-16 Vacancies among primaryofficials. – Vacancies occurring among primary officials shall be immediately filled by thelocal boards in the same manner as provided for general elections as qualifiedby § 17-15-13; provided, that in the event there are no lists available,the local board shall appoint some person or persons to fill the vacancy fromthe list of registered voters.
