§ 16-37-9 Severability. – If any provision of this chapter or of any rule or regulation made under thischapter, or its application to any person or circumstance, is held invalid by acourt of competent jurisdiction, the remainder of the chapter, rule, orregulation and the application of the provision to other persons orcircumstances shall not be affected by its invalidity. The invalidity of anysection or sections or parts of any section or sections of this chapter shallnot affect the validity of the remainder of this chapter.
