§ 12-1.2-5 Director of state crimelaboratory – Term. – (a) The crime laboratory shall be under the immediate supervision of adirector, who shall be known as the "director – state crime laboratory"and who shall possess a Ph.D. degree or an equivalent combination of a M.S.degree and experience in an appropriate field and who has had forensic trainingor experience.
(b) The director shall serve for a period of five (5) yearsand may be reappointed by the commission thereafter to subsequent five (5) yearterms.
