§ 11-47-20.3 Injury or death of lawenforcement officer. – Any person who uses bullets as defined in § 11-47-20.1 in the shooting ofany law enforcement officer acting in the performance of his or her officialduties so as to cause injury or death to the officer shall, upon conviction, besentenced to life imprisonment.
