§ 11-19-16 Forfeiture of horses used inunlawful race. – Except as provided in title 41, every person who shall knowingly suffer orpermit any horse belonging to him or her or of which he or she has the care andcharge to start, run, or trot for any bet or wager shall forfeit the horsestarting, running, or trotting to the use of the state.
