Applicability. See section 21 of Act 24 of 1992 in the appendix to this title for special provisions relating to applicability. Cross References. Subchapter F is referred to in sections 3155, 5511, 5521 of this title. § 5551. Guardianship support agencies; legislative intent. The General Assembly finds that there is a need for agencies to provide services, as an alternative to guardianship, to individuals whose decision-making ability is impaired, to serve as guardian when an individual is found to need a guardian and no other person is willing and qualified to serve and to provide services to courts, guardians and others.
