2743.63 Contempt finding.
If a person refuses to comply with an order under sections 2743.51 to 2743.72 of the Revised Code, or asserts a privilege, except privileges arising from the attorney-client relationship, to withhold or suppress evidence relevant to a claim for an award of reparations, the attorney general may make any just decision including denial of the claim but shall not find the person in contempt. If necessary to carry out any of the attorney general’s powers and duties, the attorney general may petition a court of claims panel of commissioners for an appropriate order, including but not limited to a finding of contempt, but a panel of commissioners shall not find a person in contempt for refusal to submit to a mental or physical examination.
