manner in which participation is documented.2.Each school district shall review and if necessary modify its plan at least once every
five years.3.Each school district shall file a copy of its most recent professional development plan
with the superintendent of public instruction.15.1-18.2-02. Professional development plan - Review by superintendent of publicinstruction.The superintendent of public instruction shall review each school district'sprofessional development plan to ensure that the plan meets the requirements of section
15.1-18.2-01, is designed to improve the quality of teaching and learning in the district, and is
implemented in an efficient and effective manner.15.1-18.2-03.Professional development advisory committee - Duties - Staffsupport.1.The superintendent of public instruction shall appoint a professional development
advisory committee to:a.Examine the delivery of professional development in this state;b.Review professional development needs from the perspective of teachers,
school administrators, school board members, and parents;c.Review the professional development plans filed by school districts and
propose changes to improve the opportunities for professional development;
andd.Advise the superintendent regarding regulatory and statutory measures that
could be pursued to improve the quality and availability of professional
development opportunities.2.The superintendent shall provide staff support to the professional development
