§97‑74. Expense of hearings taxed as costs in compensation cases; feescollected directed to general fund.
In hearings arising out ofclaims for disability and/or death resulting from occupational diseases theIndustrial Commission shall tax as a part of the costs in cases in whichcompensation is awarded a reasonable allowance for the services of members ofthe advisory medical committee attending such hearings and reasonableallowances for the services of members of the advisory medical committee for makinginvestigations in connection with all claims for compensation on account ofoccupational diseases, including uncontested cases, as well as contested cases,and whether or not hearings shall have been conducted in connection therewith.All such charges, fees and allowances to be collected by the IndustrialCommission shall be paid into the general fund of the State treasury toconstitute a fund out of which to pay the expenses of the advisory medicalcommittee.
