§ 95‑261. Civil no‑contactorders; persons protected.
An action for a civil no‑contactorder may be filed as a civil action in district court by an employer on behalfof an employee who has suffered unlawful conduct from any individual that canreasonably be construed to be carried out, or to have been carried out, at theemployee's workplace. The employee that is the subject of unlawful conductshall be consulted prior to seeking an injunction under this Article in orderto determine whether any safety concerns exist in relation to the employee'sparticipation in the process. Employees who are targets of unlawful conduct whoare unwilling to participate in the process under this Article shall not facedisciplinary action based on their level of participation or cooperation.
