§ 90C‑37. Enjoiningillegal practices.
(a) If the Board findsthat a person is violating any of the provisions of this Chapter, it may applyin its own name to the superior court for a temporary or permanent restrainingorder or an injunction to prevent that person from continuing the illegalpractices. The court is empowered to grant an injunction regardless of whethercriminal prosecution or other action has been or may be instituted as a resultof the violation. All actions by the Board shall be governed by the Rules ofCivil Procedure.
(b) The venue foractions brought under this Chapter shall be in the county where the defendantresides or the county where the violation occurs. (2005‑378, s. 2.)
