§ 90‑539.  Reports;immunity from suit.

A person who has reasonable cause to suspect misconduct or incapacityof a licensee, or who has reasonable cause to suspect that a person is inviolation of this Article, shall report the relevant facts to the Board. Uponreceipt of a charge, or upon its own initiative, the Board may give notice ofan administrative hearing or may, after diligent investigation, dismissunfounded charges. A person who, in good faith, makes a report pursuant to thissection shall be immune from any criminal prosecution or civil liabilityresulting therefrom. (1997‑387, s. 1.)
