§ 90‑179. Purpose of Article.
In order to promote the public health, safety, and welfare bysafeguarding the people of this State against unqualified or incompetentpractitioners of veterinary medicine, it is hereby declared that the right topractice veterinary medicine is a privilege conferred by legislative grant topersons possessed of the personal and professional qualifications specified inthis Article.
