§86A‑20. Misdemeanors.
Each of the following actsconstitutes a Class 3 misdemeanor:
(1) Violation of any ofthe provisions of G.S. 86A‑1;
(2) Obtaining orattempting to obtain a certificate of registration for money other than therequired fee or any other thing of value, or by fraudulent misrepresentations;
(3) Practicing orattempting to practice by fraudulent misrepresentations;
(4) Willful failure todisplay a certificate of registration as required by G.S. 86A‑16;
(5) Practicing orattempting to practice barbering during the period of suspension or revocationof any certificate of registration granted under this Chapter. Each day'soperation during a period of suspension or revocation shall be deemed aseparate offense;
(6) Permitting anyperson in one's employ, supervision or control to practice as a barber unlessthat person holds a certificate as a registered barber or registeredapprentice.
