§8‑16. Evidence of title under H.E. McCulloch grants.
In all actions or suits,wherein it may be necessary for either party to prove title, by virtue of agrant or grants made by the king of Great Britain or Earl Granville to HenryMcCulloch, or Henry Eustace McCulloch, it shall be sufficient for such party,in the usual manner, to give evidence of the grant or conveyance from the kingof Great Britain or Earl Granville to the said Henry McCulloch, or HenryEustace McCulloch, and the mesne conveyances thereafter, without giving anyevidence of the deed or deeds of release, relinquishment or confirmation ofEarl Granville to the said Henry McCulloch, or Henry Eustace McCulloch, or thepower or powers of attorney by which the conveyances from the said Henry McCulloch,or Henry Eustace McCulloch, purport to have been made.
