§ 7A‑114. Wherepractical, provision of secure area for domestic violence victims waiting forhearing.
Where practical, upon requestof a domestic violence victim, the clerk of Superior Court of any county shallcoordinate with the county Sheriff to make available to the victim a securearea, segregated from the general population of the courtroom, to await hearingof their court case. The Clerk shall notify the presiding judge on the date ofthe hearing that the victim is present in a segregated location. (2007‑15, s. 2.)
