§ 65‑113. Countycommissioners to have control of abandoned public cemeteries; trustees.
The county commissioners ofthe various counties are authorized to oversee all abandoned public cemeteriesin their respective counties, to see that the boundaries and lines are clearlylaid out, defined, and marked, and to take proper steps to preserve them fromencroachment, and they are hereby authorized to appropriate from the generalfund of the county whatever sums may be necessary from time to time for the abovepurposes.
The boards of countycommissioners of the various counties may appoint a board of trustees not toexceed five in number and to serve at the will of the board, and may imposeupon such trustees the duties required of the board of commissioners by thisArticle; and such trustees may accept gifts and donations for the purpose ofupkeep and beautification of such cemeteries.
