§ 62‑63. Serviceof process and notices.
The chief clerk, a deputy clerk, or any authorized agent of theCommission may serve any notice issued by it and his return thereof shall beevidence of said service; and it shall be the duty of the sheriffs and allofficers authorized by law to serve process issuing out of the superior courts,to serve any process, subpoenas and notices issued by the Commission, and suchofficers shall be entitled to the same fees as are prescribed by law forserving similar papers issuing from the superior court. Service of notice ofall hearings, investigations and proceedings by the Commission may be made uponany person upon whom a summons may be served in accordance with the provisionsgoverning civil actions in the superior courts of this State, and may be madepersonally by an authorized agent of the Commission or by mailing in a sealedenvelope, registered, with postage prepaid, or by certified mail.
