§58‑7‑5. Extension of existing charters.
Domestic insurance companiesincorporated by special acts, whose charters are subject to limitation of time,shall, after the limitation expires, and upon filing statement and paying thetaxes and fees required for an amendment of the charter, continue to be bodiescorporate, subject to all general laws applicable to such companies.
