§58‑49‑25. Disclosure.
(a) Any productionagency or administrator that advertises, sells, transacts, or administers thecoverage in this State described in G.S. 58‑49‑5 and that isrequired to submit to an examination by the Commissioner under G.S. 58‑49‑15,shall, if said coverage is not fully insured or otherwise fully covered by anadmitted life, accident, health, accident and health, or disability insurer,nonprofit hospital, medical, or dental service plan, or nonprofit health careplan, clearly and distinctly advise every purchaser, prospective purchaser, andcovered person of such lack of insurance or other coverage.
(b) Any administratorthat advertises or administers the coverage in this State described in G.S. 58‑49‑5and that is required to submit to an examination by the Commissioner under G.S.58‑49‑15, shall advise any production agency of the elements of thecoverage, including the amount of "stop‑loss" insurance ineffect.
