§ 58‑33‑133. Continuing education course provider fees.
(a) Each courseprovider shall pay to the Commissioner a fee of one dollar ($1.00) per approvedcredit hour per individual who successfully completes a course under G.S. 58‑33‑130.
(b) At the time a courseprovider submits an application to the Commissioner for approval of a courseunder G.S. 58‑33‑130, the provider shall pay to the Commissioner afiling fee of one hundred dollars ($100.00) per course up to a two thousandfive hundred dollars ($2,500) per calendar year maximum.
(b1) Licensees who arerequired to comply with G.S. 58‑33‑130 shall pay to theCommissioner a fee of one dollar ($1.00) per credit hour earned. These feesalso apply to national designation courses and other courses approved by theCommissioner from other State or federal programs.
(c) Fees collected bythe Commissioner under this section and under G.S. 58‑33‑130 shallbe credited to the Insurance Regulatory Fund created under G.S. 58‑6‑25for the purpose of offsetting the cost of administering the program authorizedby G.S. 58‑33‑130.
